A TSA lock is a general term for a locking mechanism installed on travel equipment that is certified by the United States Transportation Security Administration.
In addition to three-digit combination locks, TSA locks are keyhole locks on suitcases. Currently, at all airports within U.S. territory, checked baggage is inspected by the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) when traveling within the country or departing the country, so passengers are required to check in their luggage unlocked.
However, bags equipped with TSA LOCK (an advanced locking system approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration) can be unlocked by TSA staff using a special tool. This means that you can check in your baggage while it is still locked.
Unless the number was set by the dealer at the time of purchase, it will be set to [0.0.0].
You can change it to any of 1,000 combinations from 000 to 999. However, you will need a 3-digit number that you can currently open.
There is no key. The key for your room is a combination lock with a three-digit combination number.
TSA locks have a red diamond mark on the lock part.
For security reasons, there is no reset button. However, you can change the number.
The dial number is set to one of 1,000 numbers from 000 to 999, so you can search for it yourself by going through the numbers in order. We recommend that you write down the set number in a notebook or similar.
